Summer!

It's official! I finished my first year as a missionary! The end of the school year was busy with things like packing, figuring out what I need to bring back, closing things up at school, parties, and saying goodbye to friends. It was a whirlwind of tasks and emotions, and that whirlwind continued when I got home!

I jumped right into working at camp the very next day! Ministry doesn't stop right? With camp, visiting people, and catching up on everything related to America, it's been a hectic month! The first week or so was difficult, but God sent many different people and circumstances to encourage me at just the right times! I've met quite a few Haitian people or people who've been to Haiti since being home, and have found some tangible reminders of my other home like Tampico, a common drink in my town!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last year and in my return. I couldn't have done it without you! I would love to sit and chat with you while I'm here for the summer, so don't hesitate to contact me! In the mean time, please take a peek at my newsletter update to see how my year went and find more information on how to support me for the 2014-2015 school year (oh yeah, did I mention that I will be returning to Haiti for another year?!)!  :)
